I recommend that the buyers/sellers call the Oregon Condtruction Contractors Board (CCB) for any information regarding bonding, complaints, or pending claims against a liscensed contractor or inspector they might consider using. The contractor's CCB # can be used to obtain information from a 24-hour automated information line: (503) 378-4610, or the CCB can be reached directly at (503) 378-4621 during weekday business hours. Home Inspectors are also licensed and certified by the CCB; (the OCHI certification stands for Oregon Certified Home Inspector).
